Today, I am presenting to you all another innovative recipe for kids Lunch box Ideas. The recipe name Oats and Beetroot Sandwich. I have used simple vegetables which were present in my fridge to make this sandwich.
Normally children are fussy eaters and don’t eat all vegetables. So if prepare a sandwich which is healthy and full of nutrients so, it would be nice idea. The main ingredients in the sandwich is Beetroot is a very healthy vegetable which is underrated Beets are rich in fiber, Folate, and magnesium, potassium, iron, vitamin A, and antioxidants, it helps to lower blood pressure, Improves exercise stamina, may improve muscle power in people with the heart failure, but sadly it is not liked by many Another magical ingredient which i have used is oats, oats are Incredibly Nutritious.
Whole Oats Are Rich in Antioxidants so, it should be considered in our diet. Hence, I always try to incorporate such vegetables or fruits in ways we would love to eat them and hence I decided to make these Oats and Beetroot Sandwich. Why not cook healthy for kids. I was very fussy in eating Beetroot as a kid. We used to have salads for our lunch and the moment I saw Beet, I had to find reasons which used to go down the drain and the same goes with my kid now. So the best option is to sneak it in different forms Apart from its healthy benefits, I love this vegetable for one more reason. The natural dark pink color it imparts to the food it goes into, simply awesome and the recipe prepared goes to a different level both in appearance and taste.
These Oats and Beetroot Sandwich is a very simple recipe for a healthier version of a normal sandwich. It is the best breakfast when you are in a hurry, or a good idea to give to your kids in their lunch box so let’s learn how to prepare this recipe.

Yields1 Serving

 3 Potatoes, boiled and peeled
 ½ cup Beetroot, grated
 ½ cup Carrot, grated
 5 Black olives
 ½ tsp Green chilli, chopped
 1 tsp Dry mango powder
 1 tbsp Cumin powder
  Salt to taste
 2 Mint leaves
 2 tbsp Coriander, chopped
 1 tsp Red chilli powder
 1 cup Oats powder / flour
 ½ Lemon juice
 Multigrain bread
 1 tbsp Olive oil
 1 tsp Butter
 Mrs Foodrite Tomato Ketchup
 Mrs Foodrite Mayonnaise

To make Oats and beetroot sandwich firstly In a bowl add boiled and peeled potatoes, Mash the potatoes.

Now add grated beetroot, grated carrot, black olives, chopped green chilli, dry mango powder, cumin powder, salt to taste, mint leaves, chopped coriander, red chilli powder .Mix all the ingredients well .

Now add oats powder/ flour, lemon juice.Mix again to form dough.

Apply water on palms , take small portion and make it into cutlet.

Take multigrain bread, cut into roundels.

In a pan heat olive oil, place the cutlet and cook on both the sides till crisp.

Now heat butter in a pan,place the bread and cook till crisp.
