Today, I'm showing Two methods of making chicken. We are using gavran chicken which is also known as a countryside chicken. We will be making rassa and sukha chicken in very authentic way. If you have ever driven through Maharashtra on National Highway, and if you have stopped by any roadside Maharashtrian Dhaba there in their menu they serve Non-Veg food, you will surely find Gavran Chicken Rassa as one of the highlights of the menu. The spicy aroma of roasted dry coconut and roasted onion and whole spices will be loved by you in any Maharashtrain family home. This Gavran Chicken rassa is one of the signature dishes of Maharashtrian Cuisine. It is mostly made with Desi/Gavthi Chicken, but you wantyou can also make this with Broiler chicken. Gavran Chicken rassa tastes fantastic with Jowar Bhakri or steamed Rice. You surely make this recipe in your kitchen and expereince the taste of dhabas at your dinning table.  9001000 g Gavran Chicken/ Country side chicken
 4 Cloves
 6 Pepper
 1 Stick Cinnamon
 2 Bay Leaf
 1 Onion, chopped
 2 Tomatoes, chopped
 Salt To taste
 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
For Green Paste
 1518 Garlic
 1 Ginger
 1 cup Coriander
To Make Gavran chicken Masala Paste
 1 cup Dry Coconut, grated
 1 Cinnamon
 1 Green Cardamon
 34 Cloves
 10 Peppercorns
 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
 1 Bay Leaf
 2 Onion, sliced
 6 Dry Red Chillies
 2 tbsp Oil
 Coriander, chopped

In a pan heat oil, add bay leaf, cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, chopped onion and cook till onion turn brown.

Now add 1 tbsp Ginger, garlic and coriander paste, mix well and cook till its done.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook till tomatoes becomes soft and leave oil.

Add turmeric powder, salt to taste add the chicken and mix well.

Cover and cook the chicken, put some water over it.

To Make Gavran Chicken Masala Paste

In a aluminum vessel, add dry coconut roast till it turns brown.Remove in a plate.

Now add all the whole spices,cinnamon, green cardamon, cloves, bay leaf, peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds.Roast till aroma comes out.Remove aside.

Add Dry red chillies, roast till crisp remove and keep aside. Now heat oil, add sliced onions cook till it turns brown remove and keep aside.

Add all the roasted ingredients in a mixer and grind to paste.

Check the chicken, mix again, cover and keep on low flame.

Now heat oil in vessel, add the left over green paste mix well add the ground masala cook the masala till it leaves oil.

Open the chicken lid, cook the chicken till it's done.

Add the paste to the chicken and mix well.Boil water and add to the chicken.

Garnish with chopped coriander. Cover and cook till the chicken is done.

Serve with bhakri, rice and onion.
